Holding both American and Canadian citizenship, it was natural for Anthony to settle on the border in White Rock. Born in Germany to a military family, he grew up moving around North America and was never far from an airplane. It seemed natural, then, that he would have a career in aviation. He has over four decades of experience with commercial airlines, with most of that time spent in safety and regulatory compliance.
White Rock has one of the highest percentages of senior citizens in Canada, with nearly 40% of its residents 65 years or older. Many of them, homeowners and renters alike, live in older buildings challenged with maintenance and upgrades. As a long-time resident, Anthony is aware of the importance of providing affordable housing for this community so that they may continue to age in place. This is what brought him to this Options campaign.
He is an active community volunteer as president-elect of the Rotary Club of White Rock, as well as vice president of the South Surrey White Rock Chamber of Commerce, White Rock Museum & Archives and Peninsula Productions. He is also a former White Rock city councillor.
